It's ARRL Field Day 2025! Your mission, should you decide to accept it, is to send an ICS213 from your Field Day operation.
Start a new message and select Standard Templates > ICS USA Forms >ICS213 General Message.
- All messages must leave or enter the Field Day site by RF to count.
Click the Setup button and enter your Field Day organization (club, etc.)
1. Incident Name: enter ARRL Field Day 2025.
2. To (Name/Position): Send to your Section Manager and/or your Section Emergency Coordinator.3. From (Name/Position): enter your name and Field Day operator
- This is worth 100 points if a copy is sent in with your Field Day report!
4. Subject: 2025 ARRL Field Day Report
5. Date: click to set the date
6. Time: click to set the time
7. Message: Refer to the rules for what to report.
8. Approved by: Your Field Day leader or yourself.
8b. Position / Title: As appropriate.Make sure your Latitude and Longitude correct if you do not have GPS enabled.
- Print a copy or CC: your report person!
Submit once you have proofread, and post to outbox. Repeat the above, except address, up to 10 messages to others to claim 10 points per message sent not counting the official report above. Tick "THIS IS AN EXERCISE"
In Message:, enter your Field Day callsign and location followed by
call sign, first name, city or town, county, state, mode (Winlink HF, VARA FM, VHF packet, etc.)
Save a copy for ease in preparing the next message, then click "Submit" and follow the prompts.For one of your messages, set "To:" to WB0GAG. Add any others you would like to receive the message.
When you are satisfied with the message, click "Post to Outbox".
Set "Subject:" to Iowa Winlink Weekend.
Send as normal. If you have no radio capability yet, use telnet.
